The church building was expanded to accommodate the growing congregation. Ministries for men, women, and youth were formally organised, laying the structural foundation for the church's ministry that continues to this day.

As India gained independence, the church embraced its identity as a fully Indian congregation. Local leadership was strengthened and the church deepened its commitment to serving the Marathi community with the Gospel of Christ.
